The Kaua`i Animal Welfare Society is excited to announce a new addition to our sanctuary: Kupuna Kamp- A Retirement Home for Senior Dogs on Kaua`i. This summer the first phase of this project was completed- the construction of a cute royal blue structure that will house the senior dogs. The next phases are to add a covered deck, bathing station, a lot of fencing, and the assembly of our gazebo. A very kind and generous supporter will be matching donations dollar for dollar up to $10,000. We will end the campaign on August 31, 2022.
Once Kupuna Kamp is completed, we will be able house up to 7 senior dogs. We understand that seniors often need more daily care, medical attention, and may have physical and mental difficulties. It is our vision to provide care and love to senior dogs who find themselves needing a home. No donation is too small, and we are grateful for any assistance you are able to provide.
For a donation of $250 or more, we will send you a newly printed Kupuna Kamp shirt. We have limited shirts, so only one per donation. Please let us know your desired style (ladies' tee, ladies' tank, unisex) and size (S, M, L, XL, XXL).
For a donation of $1,000 we will plant a tree in our Kupuna Kamp orchard in honor of you or a loved one and send you a Kupuna Kamp shirt.
For a donation of $5,000 you will have the honor of naming either the senior dog home or gazebo, we will plant a tree in your or a loved one's honor, and you will receive a Kupuna Kamp shirt. We only have 2 structures for naming, so please inquire before donating to see if they are still available to name.
